A very short 3523 metre 6 hole course, Crescent Head Links has caught many an unsuspecting golfer unaware.
Utterly exposed to the prevailing North-east wind, small fast greens surronded by deep bunkers
and out of bounds on most holes has contributed to keeping the course record of par 63 in tact.
The Club
The golf club is actually as the offical name suggests a part of the Crescent Head Country Club Ltd. The Country club is the focal point of the village of Crescent Head Providing facilities and funding for a myriad of sporting clubs and activities within the village.
Competitions
Every Saturday mens and womens 18 hole competitions are held. Veterans and ladies play Tuesday and wednesday mornings respectively. Visitors with an accredited handicap are made more than welcome in these comps and need only book at the club to ensure a tee-time. There is also a social club which holds fortnightly competitions all year round.
