Thought 7 mile beach was beautiful (and long) until I saw 9 mile beach yesterday. The cottage is a delight. It has a gorgeous view, gentle breezes and all the comforts of home. You could sit all day on the spacious deck and watch the activity on the lake and listen to the birds in the Gum trees above. Yes, there are wild parrots, parakeets, cockatoos everywhere. The main problem is living next to a great espresso bar and gift shop. I'm not losing any weight. The mudpack was scrumptious. Life here on the coast is much more enjoyable than in Sydney. Although life in the city is full of exciting things to do, it is noisy, hot and humid. Here there are constant breezes and peace and quiet. It will be hard to leave!
