Choristers for A Jazzy Afternoon on Sunday 24 July
at 2.00pm at Players Theatre – a wonderful way to spend a
winter’s Sunday afternoon. The bar will open at 1.15pm.
Cantorus will
delight with favourites such as Autumn Leaves and Sentimental
Journey. Our special guest is Dr Kevin Hunt, a Sydney
jazz pianist and composer. Other highlights of the concert include
performances from percussionist Phil Luke, a bracket of
songs from the ever-popular female ensemble, Cantabile, and
a solo singing performance from our new MD, Olwen Williams.
Olwen has performed across Australia and internationally as a jazz
vocalist.
