To promote access, equity, participation and social justice so as to

"help people to help themselves'

Aims and Objectives

to provide information and referral to existing services-putting people in contact with the help that they need
to assist the co-ordination and networking of existing services
to increase and enhance community development and education through the exchange of information, skills and resources
to foster self help, mutual support,community participationand collective action
to provide a range of options or contacts so that people have informed choices
to take a proactive role in the prevention of social, geographic and economic isolation within the community
to use interagency meetings and networking to facilitate support and information flow
to manage resources efficently and effectively and to be accountable
to provide a safe working environment for staff, volunteers, the committee and the public
