8:00am - 16/10/2019 -

An issue has been identified with the underlying server that runs @midcoast.com.au email server. Our technicians are onsite assessing the issue.

9:45am - 16/10/2019 -

The issue has been identified as a series of Hard Drive failures. We have installed a temporary mail server with empty mail boxes. Any new emails will go into the new mailboxes. We are now looking at the recovery of the data in the existing mailboxes. 

10:00pm - 16/10/2019

Technicians have rebooted the affected server for urgent repairs.

9:00am - 17/10/19 

We have removed the effected Hard Drives and in the process of recovering mailboxes.

These Hard Drives contain Terabytes of data which will take some time to recover. 

No data is believed to be lost.

9:00am - 24/10/19 

Email recovery:  We have recovered email from one of our backup systems and now will need to import them into the live mailboxes.

This email is up to the 24th September this year. We want to avoid restoring messages that already exist.

Also if you do not need email in certain date ranges please include those dates.

We are continuing to recover emails from after 24th September. 

ALL Internet Unplanned Outage Slow/No Internet

 Our technical engineers have detected a Denial of Service attack with our upstream carrier. The attack has ceased, but we are still monitoring the situation.
